Truck Drivers' Philippines is a non-profit organization founded by June Magno & Cifu.
It was established on November 1, 2016, by its founders, after they reseached and looked up at multiple threads upon threads of information regarding the current flaws and conflicts from the transportation industry, especially truck drivers, that needs to be tackled with long-term working solutions and programs.
The profession of truck driving and related jobs have been massively undervalued by many, causing a lot of disrespect and lack self-driving disciplines and road morals.
TDP tries to instill a set of important values in the minds and hearts of many drivers, such as:
• TULUNGAN (Interdependence)
-means helping fellow drivers in different circumstances such as driving assistance, rescue, repair and immediate financial aids, etc..
• DISIPLINA (Discipline)
-means the capability and capacity to take care of oneself through following road safety laws, giving the right way to others and having the emotional maturity to possess professionalism against any conflict with patience.
• PAGKAKAISA (Unity)
-means strengthening the community's tight-knit bonds through helping one another, promoting community initiatives and events such as tree planting, blood-letting, feeding programs and community cleanups, which it turn, empower the livelihood of the common people.
As of January 2023, TDP has all 18 regional chapters, 75 provincial chapters, 135 city chapters, 952 municipal chapters and around ~6,000 admins, totaling at ~500,000 active members all around the Philippines.
We are actively looking forward to help the Philippine economy to prosper by uplifting professionalism of driving, creating global job opportunities in the process, help the government thru information dissemination and currently, to participate in the government party-list system.
